It was a cloudy and chilly day, but my friends and I decided to head to the 29th Biennial of Art in Sao Paulo, located at the Ibirapuera Park. We walked around the park before getting to the actual event and, of course, I brought my camera, actually, the whole photography backpack. It had been a little while since I didn't take serious pictures and I thought the park and the biennial would be perfect excuses to do so.
It's been some seriously intense weeks, doing a lot to find an appartment and getting used to the fact that I am living in a crazy expensive city (between other usual stuff that happens when you move to a new place). In addition to that, I've been struggling with the language barrier because, for me, portugnol is pure... Nevermind.
However, I had an awesome time in the park and at the biennal, mostly because I could enjoy myself and what was around me, like this skyline. Even if was cloudy, I loved the shot, and seriously, this is going to sound cheesy or whatever, but taking that shot really helped me out and gave me the chance to do some serious bonding with a crazy, chaotic, expensive city.
I thank God for His creation and for the opportunity he´s giving me to enjoy this place. I know it shouldn't be that way but I think it's the very first time that I'm saying this being in Brazil and actually meaning it.
So Sao Paulo, here you are, and here I am, I am ready to take the best out of you in the next 1.5+ years!
